Northern Spy offers a limited number of dinner reservations each night for parties up to six people. The best way to make a reservation is right here or by using the widget on every page of our website. We always leave a portion of the dining room for walk-in customers on a first-come first-served basis.
Due to the restaurant’s limited seating, we can only seat complete parties and will be unable to hold a table for more then 15 minutes past the reservation time. If you are running late, please call 212-228-5100 x4 to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Should your plans change, please let us know as well.
NOTE: Because of limited seating, we may require a credit card to hold reservations of 5 or more people. You may always cancel without penalty by calling the restaurant or using the reservation system, however, we reserve the right to charge $50 per guest in the event of a no show.
If you have a party of eight or more, we offer a 3-course family-style tasting menu for $45/person and can accommodate you for an early dinner Monday through Thursday only. Call us or contact email@example.com to discuss details. Additionally, we can offer any of the items we’re serving for small to medium events, or we can work with you to customize a menu.
Brunch and weekday lunch services are walk-in only. We can, however, arrange for large parties at lunch Monday through Friday.
Chef’s tasting menu
Northern Spy offers a five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for $55 (not including tax, tip or beverages) for parties up to six on Monday through Saturday. We do not offer the 5-course tasting on Sunday nights. We require 24-hours advance notice to plan your tasting. Please call the restaurant to make your reservation, and be sure to indicate your preference for a vegetarian or non-vegetarian tasting and inform us of any other dietary restrictions or allergies.
Special events policy
All reservations for our special event dinners require a credit card to hold the reservation. You will be contacted by the restaurant for your card information. Please call the restaurant if you plans change or you need to cancel. We require at least 24-hours cancellation notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the price of the meal. No shows will be charged the full price of the meal.
