Dear friends and customers: over the weekend, we suffered a major credit card processing malfunction of as-yet unknown causes. We do know for certain that it was at the computer and processor level, and had nothing to do with anything anyone on our staff did intentionally or accidentally. Due to this malfunction, everyone who dined with us on Saturday or Sunday and paid by Amex, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover may see that their credit card was charged anywhere from four to twelve times what they should have been charged. We are working at this very moment to reverse and/or eliminate those over-charges and are being assisted by our processing companies, Newtek and Elavon. We apologize to everyone for the significant and worrisome inconvenience and assure you all that it will be made right as quickly as we possibly can.
