Say whaaaat? No, we’re not on dope, Mr. Hand, we’re selling food on the coolest park between the Hudson and East Rivers! Since Memorial Day weekend we’ve been up on the High Line dishing out tasty food and refreshments along with Blue Bottle, Bark, Terroir, Melt, People’s Pops, The Taco Truck, La Newyorkina, and L’Arte del Gelato. Our hot new (and blue) stand is located in the Chelsea Passage between 15th and 16th streets, and is open every day of the week from 11am to 8pm (occassional closures for High Line events excepted) all summer and early fall through October.
We have a terrific menu of tasty and portable treats including our legendary kale salad, the soon-to-be legendary sticky pork rolls, grilled cheeses and mushroom sandwiches, egg and cheese biscuits, country ham, gazpacho, everything pretzels, and jalapeno cheddar cornbread. So call it Northern Spy Up High, the Spy Line, whatever your pleasure, but one thing’s for sure—the best park in the city for entertaining relatives and playing hookey just got a whole lot cooler (and cue: Wooderson).
